Crewe Alexandra have secured a long-term future for one of their brightest young defenders after Lewis Billington agreed a new three-year contract with the League Two club.
The 22-year-old centre-back, who joined Crewe at the age of six, has committed his future to the Railwaymen until the summer of 2029. Billington has already made more than 100 first-team appearances and will now begin his sixth senior season at the Mornflake Stadium.
