Crewe Alexandra FC has produced a life-like miniature of club captain Mickey Demetriou, printed on a Mimaki 3DUJ-2207, for its new kit launch campaign. The miniature figure was printed in full color, capturing shirt textures, branding elements, and facial features. The club used an Artec Leo 3D scanner to scan Demetriou, which was then handled by Europac 3D for post-processing and color balancing. Hybrid Services, the official printer partner and Mimaki distributor, produced the figure on a Mimaki 3DUJ-2207. The finished model stood approximately 20cm tall and served as the focal point of the club's kit launch video. The video documented the full production process before revealing Demetriou alongside his printed likeness on the pitch. Hybrid also produced smaller versions of the model for Demetriou's children. The kit launch has been a popular event on social media, with the 3D print adding an extra dimension to the campaign.
