Crewe Alexandra have signed Norwegian striker Chuma Anene on loan from FC Midtjylland for the rest of the season. The transfer is subject to medical and international clearance, and Anene will not be eligible for Tuesday's trip to Crawley. However, he could be in line for a debut at Newport on Saturday. Anene, 26, has twice been loaned out in 2019 by Midtjylland, to Danish club Fredericia, then Norwegian outfit FK Jerv. He has also played for clubs in Russia, Macedonia, and Kazakhstan. The former Norway Under-20 international has a wealth of experience in European football. Crewe Alexandra have won their last two League Two home games, following a 3-0 home defeat by Plymouth Argyle at the start of the season.
